Pioneer Homestead is a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to provide safe, affordable housing for seniors and disabled citizens. It includes three apartment complexes for independent living, including a total of 77 one and two bedroom apartments.
Pioneer Homestead welcomes seniors over the age of 62, or disabled/handicapped individuals regardless of age. The complex also offers a library, meeting room, laundry facilities, an outdoor common area, parking, and storage. Pets are allowed upon approval depending on property.
